The executive previously held the position of transformational lead for Flutter Entertainment following its acquisition of the Stars Group in May this year.
Before this, Lewis worked as SVP of communications at the Stars Group and also director of corporate development at Sky Bet.
In his role as chief strategy officer, Lewis will be responsible for investor relations working with 888’s CFO to develop the company’s investor relations strategy.
He will also support 888 CEO Itai Pazner in the development of the company’s long-term strategy, responsible for business development, including M&A.
Commenting on the appointment, Pazner said: “We are delighted to welcome Vaughan as 888’s first CSO.
