Bayes Esports has made two new appointments in its leadership team, with former CCO Amir Mirzaee taking up the position of Co-CEO and Christopher Bohlmann, previously VP Growth & Finance, assuming the role of CFO.
The shift in leadership titles for the pair is part of the esports betting company’s plan to drive sustainable growth and hit its mid-term goals of profitability, as it looks to strengthen collaboration within.
Mirzaee and Bohlmann have nearly 30 years of joint experience between them, which has included roles at JP Morgan and Google.
They have been key assets to the company, helping it to achievements such as hitting 50% year-on-year growth in 2023 and recently helping to complete Bayes Esports’ product suite.
Mirzaee commented: “Bayes Esports has cemented its position at the center of the esports ecosystem, and this shift reflects our continued growth.
“Together with Martin, we will foster innovation and integrity within the esports industry, while forging partnerships with the very best in the industry.”
Mirzaee who will work alongside current CEO Martin Dachselt, appeared on the Huddle last year, discussing the esports betting market.
Bohlmann added: “I have had the pleasure of working alongside the Bayes Esports team the past 2 years, and I want to continue building on this momentum. We are on an exciting path to profitability with many new opportunities in the pipeline. We haven’t even scratched the surface of our potential.
“I look forward to this new era of Bayes Esports, where we navigate challenges and unlock new opportunities, by building an even stronger data-driven ecosystem, and thereby creating value for Bayes Esports and all our clients.”
