ACR Poker has announced it will send at least 20 players to the $200,000 Guaranteed Moneymaker Tour Main Event in Aruba this October.
This event is part of the land-based poker tour organised by former WSOP Champion and current ACR Pro, Chris Moneymaker.
Recently, Chris Moneymaker finished 6th in ACR Poker’s $12.5m Venom, earning $382,007. He subsequently won Event #1 (GG Million$ Live) at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, securing $903,000.
Moneymaker commented: “I’ve been really proud to wear the ACR Pro patch on the big stage lately. I want to thank ACR Poker for their help in supporting my tour and it’s going to be great to see all the players competing in beautiful Aruba this fall.”
Players can win packages to the Aruba event through the Beast Tournament Mega Satellite, scheduled for Sunday, 9 June at 6:05pm ET.
Entry to this tournament is available either by direct buy-in for $95 or through qualifying via ACR Poker’s Beast weekly leaderboard. The Mega Satellite guarantees 20 packages worth $2,500 each, totalling $50,000. Each package includes a $1,500 entry to the Main Event and $1,000 for travel expenses.
ACR Poker also holds a $109 satellite qualifier every Sunday at 6:05pm ET, awarding a $1,500 Main Event entry to future tour stops.
This development follows ACR Poker’s High Stakes Adventure announcement in April, with the next destination being Montenegro. The High Stakes Adventure series, which has included destinations like London and Monte Carlo, offers travel prize packages related to poker.
The Montenegro event, from 12 May to 26 May, guarantees two packages via a Main Satellite on 28 April. Each package includes $110,000 in tournament buy-ins and entry fees for the Super High Roller Series, along with business class airfare and luxury accommodation.
In other poker news, GGPoker has announced its World Festival Tournament Series, running from 5 May to 11 June, with a total of $250m in guaranteed prizes.
