Game Lounge has announced that its Swedish website, SveaCasino.Se, is now QMRA (Quality Mark Regulatory Assurance) compliant.
The QMRA was launched in February 2024 and is available in various jurisdictions, including Sweden, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Michigan (USA), UK, Poland, Estonia and Ontario (Canada).
QMRA follows the success of the Dutch Quality Mark (KVA), and has already garnered numerous prominent members such as Gaming Innovation Group, Applied Digital Media Group, Leadstar Media and Game Lounge.
SveaCasino.Se – with an estimated traffic of 100,000 monthly visitors – will now be the newest website to display the QMRA mark, signalling adherence to the QMRA Compliance Code.
This code ensures that affiliates do not promote unlicensed operators. It also aims to ensure that affiliates engage in responsible advertising, design careful and balanced marketing activities and generally contribute to responsible gaming.
A number of other companies have also announced their adoption of QMRA policy in recent months.
Last month, for example, GiG Media announced its decision to implement the QMRA across all its websites operating in regulated markets.
Commenting on this decision, Milorad Matejic, GiG Media COO, stated: “GiG Media is pleased to cooperate with QMRA in enhancing our compliance initiatives. Adhering to its standards on our websites where QMRA services the market demonstrates our commitment to compliance at GiG Media.”
Steven Vrolijk, QMRA Director, added: “GiG was one of the first KVA members, so we know each other already. GiG knows our work and our serious efforts. I am happy to say that our KVA evidence led them to be the first to make QMRA official company policy.”
