In a partnership that marks Fortuna Entertainment Group’s poker debut, Playtech has partnered with the group to introduce its iPoker offerings to the Czech market, further expanding its iPoker presence across the European continent.
With an established poker culture across the nation highlighted by annual poker events held in both Prague and Rozvadov, Playtech hopes that the apparent demand for the game, alongside Fortuna’s operational knowledge of the market will spell success for this latest venture in the region.
The partnership is the latest in a series of expansive moves from Playtech, which also announced the extension of its partnership with LeoVegas in Holland last week – following successful collaborative efforts since 2015.
VP of Interactive Gaming, Poker at Playtech, Marat Koss, commented on this latest partnership, stating: “We are delighted to be partnering with Fortuna to expand our iPoker network into the Czech market. Playtech is committed to providing a high-quality player experience through its cutting-edge poker product and continuous innovation.”
Through the addition of iPoker, Fortuna further diversifies its player offerings. Earlier in April, Fortuna also partnered with Gaming Corps, introducing its content to the Central and Eastern European markets.
Speaking on this latest joint venture, Head of Gaming & Commercial Strategy at Fortuna, Myke Foster, said: “Poker has a significant presence in the Czech market with an established player base and we are impressed by the quality of Playtech’s poker product. We see tremendous potential in this product and are confident it will deliver an exceptional and modern user experience to our customer base.”
