Strive Gaming and Internet Vikings have made strides in their expansion efforts within the US gaming industry.

Strive Gaming has obtained an Interim Authorisation for iGaming and Sports Wagering Manufacturer Licence in Pennsylvania.

This follows Strive Gaming’s recent funding round, led by OpenBet. The round aims to support Strive Gaming’s strategic expansion plans across key online casino states in 2024.

Max Meltzer, Strive Gaming CEO, said: “We are thrilled to receive the Interim Authorisation for iGaming and Sports Wagering Manufacturer Licence in Pennsylvania. This milestone follows our Michigan state licence a few months ago and continues to reflect our dedication to regulatory compliance and our ongoing efforts to deliver iGaming and sports betting PAM solution.”

In parallel, Internet Vikings, renowned for providing licensed in-state hosting solutions, has extended its services into Connecticut, offering hosting solutions to the online gaming sector.

This expansion is part of Internet Vikings’ efforts for nationwide coverage, now reaching 24 states across the US.

Connecticut’s online gambling market has shown growth since its inception in October 2021. Recent data from Gaming Intelligence indicates a 33% surge in bets in January 2024.

Kristoffer Ottosson, Internet Vikings COO, said: “As the Connecticut market experiences significant growth, there’s a clear opportunity for additional service providers. Obtaining our licence as an online gaming service provider enables us to contribute to this expanding sector and capitalise on its potential.”

Rickard Vikström, Internet Vikings CEO and Founder, added: “I’m impressed with our team’s speed in securing the Connecticut licence within a month from the signing of the agreement with the customer. Looking ahead to 2024, we’re set to expand our reach into additional states to continue meeting the needs of the industry.”
