David Bollesen departs role as Ainsworth CTO

Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT) has announced that its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) David Bollesen will be leaving the company by mutual consent and with immediate effect. 

The company will now undertake its search for a new CTO, who will be based in Las Vegas, and in the meantime the position will be overseen on an internal basis by regional presidents. 

AGT CEO Mr Harald Neumann said: “David has overseen the execution of transitional product strategies which have laid the foundations to position the Company for continued improvements in product performance and the achievement of growth across all regions.  I thank David for his dedication and contribution during his service with the company and we wish him well for the future. 

“The company will undertake a search for a new CTO which will be based at the company’s operation in Las Vegas. In the interim the CTO role will be overseen internally by the respective regional presidents, in conjunction with game studio leaders.  

“I am confident that the current management within product development areas will ensure no disruption in the execution of the planned product roadmap.” 

In other news from Australia, The Star’s Brisbane suspension has been delayed to 20 December 2024, with the casino licence suspension originally due to commence on 31 May, while SkyCity Adelaide and AUSTRAC have filed joint submissions with the Federal Court of Australia proposing to a $67m penalty related to AML failings.
