The iGaming development studio is aiming to make the period of waiting for the FIFA 2022 World Cup more special through the game launch, noting that “real football fans will understand the level of excitement.”

Gamzix noted: “Simple rules, fast results and, of course, thematic design for someone who can’t wait for the real game.”

Game specifications include an RTP of 96.6%, the ability to change skins for individual casinos and support for 22 localisations. Gamzix added that Pilot Cup is supported via web view, and accepts all types of currencies.

Gamzix CEO Alexandr Kosogov commented: “Responding to the current need of our audacity is one of the main goals for the company. We are not making games just for ourselves. It’s always about people and their desires. So we had no doubts we are going to use the World Cup as an inspiration to make something special for the big football fans.”

The FIFA 2022 World Cup gets underway in Qatar on 20 November, running until 18 December. It will feature 32 countries from five confederations, with the matches taking place across five different host cities.

Earlier this week, Pascal Gaming introduced a new prediction game ahead of the tournament; Champions Challenge. To participate, players must make predictions on the group stage standings, knockout results and the winner of the World Cup.

If a player fills all the appropriate fields of the prediction brackets correctly, they reach the final. Each correct result prediction gives a player points, which determines their place on the leaderboard.
