Week 2 comes to a conclusion on Monday Night Football in an NFC South clash between the third-place New Orleans Saints and last-place Carolina Panthers.

Below, I will walk through my best prop bet to make for MNF.

NFL Monday Night Football Player Prop Bet

Jamaal Williams Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125 via PointsBet)

With Alvin Kamara suspended, Jamaal Williams will once again serve as the Saints’ primary running back against the Panthers.

Williams accounted for 18 of New Orleans’ 27 rushing attempts in Week 1, and a similar workload is likely in store once again, even with Kendre Miller likely to make his NFL debut after missing last week with a hamstring injury. There will be no rush for Miller to overtake the RB1 role, as the Saints will want to ease him back from an injury that is easily repeatable.

So, with a big workload, Williams should not have an issue finding the end zone against a Carolina rush defense that got dominated in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta’s pairing of Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson ran all over Carolina, combining for 131 rushing yards on 25 carries while also totaling three touchdowns.

New Orleans went run-heavy in a more successful second half last week en route to its narrow victory over the Tennessee Titans, and that is a game script they will likely build upon due to its success. If that is the case, then Williams should have no issue scoring against this defense.
