The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has released the schedule for the 2024 Tournament of Champions.
This tournament will conclude the 19th WSOP season with the final stop hosted by The Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles.
The WSOP Circuit will reach The Commerce on 10 May, with a total of $1.75m in guarantees and the final tournament expected to wrap up on 24 May.
The Tournament of Champions itself will run from 22-24 May as a $1m freeroll championship, which will be open to all WSOP ring and bracelet winnings from the 2023/24 season.
Ty Stewart, WSOP SVP & Executive Director, said: “For years, The Commerce has been the home of poker in Los Angeles and one of the leading card rooms in the world.
“We look forward to kicking off our new strategic relationship with a special WSOP Circuit finale and the Tournament of Champions bracelet event.
“We also look forward to qualifying more players from Los Angeles for the WSOP Main Event than ever before.”
The first events at The Commerce are suitably named The Housewarming Tournament, which will be a four-flight structure over two days, with a $600 buy-in and $500,000 guaranteed.
There will also be a chance for satellite players to win a full-package experience for the 2024 WSOP Main Event at Horseshoe Las Vegas, which will include a full buy-in and travel allowance.
Spencer Villaseñor, The Commerce Casino & Hotel Director of Guest Experience, said: “We are ecstatic to merge our strengths with the World Series of Poker.
“This collaboration marks the convergence of two giants in the poker world and presents endless possibilities.
